We collect information in several ways: when you make your first appointment; during consultations; and from referrals, My Health Record, Medicare, and other treating specialists and hospitals involved in your care, where relevant.

We sometimes share your personal information with third parties involved in your care — such as specialists, hospitals, pathology and imaging services, and Medicare — and only where necessary. We will not share your information for marketing without your consent, and only disclose it as required or authorised by law.
Storage and security
Your personal information is stored securely in electronic and, where applicable, paper records. Our practice takes reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Access, correction and concerns
You have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information. Please contact the practice to make a request. If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please let us know so we can address it.
